As you walk through the swampy jungle to the South, you enter the ancient ruins of the Dark Temple. Abandoned and forgotten, the temple has slowly succumbed to the erosion of time. Before you lies the central chamber—the walls have crumbled, the ceiling caved in, and the jungle now flourishes within the once pristine halls.

Green light filters itself through the temple, mixing eerily with the dark, violet hue of Dromund Kaas' sky. Lightning flickers overhead, the raw energy of the Force clashing high above. The floor is overgrown with flora, large plants and grasses that have swallowed the old stone. Wild creatures roam freely, skittering away from your presence, but your heightened senses can feel the brush of vicious predators, hiding just out of sight.

The main hall is lined on both sides by towering statues, heads bowed in supplication. They stand in deference to the sculpture of a pureblooded Sith, which towers over the chamber with outstretched arms. The sculpture has been split diagonally down the middle, as if cleaved in two by a rusted blade, but you can still feel the majesty in the stone.

On either side of the main hall, remnants of branches to inaccessible parts of the temple remain. Ignoring those, your head tilts to take in what is left of the mezzanine—the balcony overlooking the chamber—still held aloft by the great pillars standing behind the statues. Several of the pillars have fallen, providing a pathway up to the mezzanine for those willing to take the risk for higher ground.

You can feel the danger of the temple. Sense the spirits of the Sith that still haunt the grounds, waiting for poor, misguided fools to walk blindly into their domain. Now, they have two souls to consume… that is, if you and your opponent don't destroy each other first.

Scheat was shocked to see a open flame, and approached with caution. As he approached he saw a figure move. He recognized the being. it was the Jedi Arcean who had gone missing after the Great Jedi War. He smiled, and sat by the fire without fear.

"Hello Arcean," The Knight said without fear. "I have been looking for you. As have some of the other Jedi. You are an amazing healer, and well we want you to come back."

The Neti gazed into the fire, and handed Scheat one of two glasses. Scheat took his without hesitation, and took a big gulp. It was blue milk, Scheat almost laughed. "What? Blue milk? I was expecting a good drink old friend. Still it is kind of you to give me a drink."

"Of course Nautolan. You were kind to me during the war. I left because of the suffering." The Krath replied slyly, not giving up to much detail. "The war had suffering."

Scheat nodded in agreement. "Yes. There was too much suffering in the war. While I wasn't in it, I saw many people who suffered. Saved some slaves though, so I did my pa-"

Scheat stopped talking, and began coughing into his hands. When he raised his head to see what was wrong he saw blood over his hands. He stared at in in confusion.

"You misunderstand Jedi." Arcean stated, grinning maliciously. "I realized what I could truly do with my Medical experience. I could cause suffering. There was nowhere near enough in the war. What you have now is a simple case of Tuberculosis. If you don't receive proper treatment you will die. And I don't plan on letting you get treatment."

The Knight stared at his former friend in shock. His hand went to his blaster, and he pulled it out, shooting at the Neti. He was distracted by his cough, and missed, but caused the Neti to fall into the fire. He watched in fear as Arcean rolled out, and used the roll to put out the fire on him. He saw the burt Krath stand up, and pull out a saber.

"You frakking coward! You're too scared to face me while I'm not--cough-- infected with some pointless disease." Scheat screamed, pulling out his blastsword.

Arcean laughed as the Jedi stood up. "You don't get it do you?" the Krath teased. "You will die. All I have to do is leave you here. Disable your precious ship. Maybe just stab you in the heart with your own saber. Though, you seem to be taking to tuberculosis quite badly. You may just die on the spot."

The Nautolan merely grinned. "You are worse than the scum I normally deal with. I'm coughing up blood. So what?! I'll stop the evil you have become and I will do it gladly."

Scheat leaped at Arcean, powering his blastsword. Arcean brought his saber to bear, narrowly avoiding the blastsword. He watched as the Nautolan passed him and fell to the ground. Strange, Arcean thought, He is reacting quickly to the TB. To quickly for it to be the TB alone. I did add six different poisons. I suppose the mixture of poisons and TB is breaking him down quickly. Maybe I should add a seventh poison, kill him instantly.

The Krath pulled out a syringe full of Synox. "This should do the trick," he said aloud, believing the Nautolan to be to weak to act. He move to stick the syringe in the Nautolans jugular, hoping to kill his old friend quickly. just before he was able to stick the syringe into the Jedi's skin, he felt his wrist being grabbed, and was pulled to the ground. The syringe rolled away, and Arcean was rewarded for his concern for his old friend by a punch to the face.

The Neti shook off the hit, along with the shock that his foe could still fight. Obviously the Nautolan was tricking him with how bad off he was. Arcean took a few more blows before he pushed off his sickened foe.
