You enter the dungeon via turbolift, hundreds of feet below the surface of Antei, down into the deepest depths of the Codei Prison. As you step out of the lift, the first thing you notice is the heat—a sweltering, miserable heat generated by the molten lava that both powers and protects the prison. The walls shine in the flickering light, the moisture dripping slowly downwards to create creeping tendrils of moss on the dark stone.

The second thing you notice are the chains dangling from the ceiling. Massive, twisted strands of black metal ending in a pair of stone manacles, hanging roughly seven feet in the air—high enough to make just standing in them a torture in itself. You know the chains and manacles have been forged with Sith Alchemy. They were constructed to prevent even an Elder from accessing the Force. Those bound by the black chains would be utterly helpless. Escape would be impossible.

The room is rectangular, seemingly carved out of solidified magma, and roughly the size of a small transport. Against each wall stands immaculate, durasteel tables covered with sharp, ugly instruments used for torture and interrogation. You can sense a myriad of deadly machines hidden just out of sight underneath the tables, waiting to administer both drugs and pain. Splashes of blood, having long-dried into the bedrock, remain as evidence of those who had suffered here before. Echoes of their ghastly screams seem to reverberate around the dungeon, sending shivers down your spine.

The doors of the turbolift close with a soft whoosh, cutting off your only escape. You stand in the dungeon of the Codei Prison—the inescapable hell for enemies of the Brotherhood—and you are not alone.

Xan scanned the room. He had heard that someone was living in the dungeon, and had come to investigate. The Dashade pushed aside a row of chains. While they would do nothing to him, they would help him if he was pushed to the brink by a Force User.

Tinana will have a field day with this. Or tell me off for risking my life unnecessarily. Either one works for me, he thought. Perhaps I can help this person. Then again, I could find nothing.

He brushed aside another row of chains and spotted the person he believed he was looking for. Reflexes drove the Dashade to immediately put his hand on the Inquisitors stiletto he carried. Only a second later his Wobow mindset took over and he relaxed.

The figure he faced was certainly smaller than the hulking Medic. However aside from that, the only other thing he knew about this person was he was a bipedal humanoid. The man, from what Xan guessed, was wearing a strange mask so the medic could not tell species or anything else about him.

"Hello, I am Xan, a Medic," Xan said a relaxed tone in his voice.

"Hi," the man said. "I am Kal, why are you here?"

"Well Kal, I heard a rumor that someone was living here. Can I assume that is you?" the Medic replied.

"Yes it is me. But I am here for a reason. Please go, its not safe here," Kal said franticly.

"I can help with any problem," Xan said confidently, believing the issue to be with the area.

"You don't understand!" Kal said. "You will die here, get to safety."

"It's going to be fine," Xan stated, reaching out to give Kal a reassuring pat on the shoulder.

Kal lashed out, striking Xan in the face. "Don't ever lay a hand on me Dashade!" he said darkly.

"Kal? What was that?" Xan replied almost casually, shrugging off the blow.

"Who is Kal?" Lar responded right before going in for a second attack.

Xan jumped back and dodged his attack. This was strange. Just a second ago he was acting kind and normal, and now he was acting crazy.

“Just like the beginning, huh?” Lar said, “All of this is very familiar don’t you think?”

“What are you talking about?” Xan asked. Lar laughed as he tried to hit Xan again.

“You all look the same to me.” Lar said finally tired of swinging his fist and drew his lightsaber.

Xan reacted fast. On the first swing of the blade, Xan smashed his hand. A sharp pain exploded in Lar’s hand. He instantly dropped the lightsaber. He curled his hand. Pain again shot through it, though less painful than before.

Xan contemplated what he saw. Two names for one being, sudden changes in personality. Was it possible for him to not have one, but versions of him?

“You said you were Lar?” Xan asked dodging a swung fist.

“What does it matter to you?” Lar answered bitterly.

“You might have split personality, two minds occupying…”

“There is only Lar!” Lar yelled striking Xan in the chest. This was starting to get annoying.

“You know that's not true.” Said Kal. Lar ignored the voice. There would only be one.

“Let me at least fix your hand.” Xan suggested. Lar thought about this. He could take the offer, then get in a surprise strike.

“Take the offer. Please show him you're capable of being reasonable.” Kal implored to his other half.

Lar only Curled his hand again, using the Force to realign his hand. There was only a small amount of pain that time.

“I have no need for your help.” Lar said getting back into a combat ready stance.
