Combat Master’s Note: This venue was designed for use with the Unleashed Force power setting. However, unless both combatants agree, Force powers as listed in the description of the battle MUST be followed. If participants decide differently they must alert the Combat Master before the battle concludes, or else the battle will be judged with standard Realism grades for Force power usage. See http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rancor_Graveyard for more information on this location.

The Rancor Graveyard. A two hundred meter expanse marking the ancient burial site of Felucia's deadliest creatures—the location of innumerable piles of the ancient remnants of hundreds, if not thousands of rancors. A circular enclosure of bones are arranged in the center of the cemetery, no doubt the former dwelling of a powerful practitioner of the Force. Cobwebs cling to the fallen beasts, a testament to the primordial age of some of the creatures.

Somewhat obscured by surrounding cliffs and the luminescent jungle, the dusted bones and carcasses are cast in a faint shadow, with just enough light to see by. The atmosphere is thick and stifling, with a strong overtone of dust and bone suspended in the still air. You sense the strong taint of the Dark Side's influence, the entire area polluted by that power. Unlike most of Felucia, the area is nearly devoid of life but for the ravenous predators, twisted by the Force, dwelling within the hollowed-out husks of the dead rancors.

Standing in the graveyard, that dark power flows into you, causing your blood to sizzle. Movement suddenly catches your eye. Your senses reach out instinctively, seeking out the other intruder disturbing the dead. You turn towards the source as it turns towards you. Death, it seems, has come to the Graveyard once again.

Brimstone noticed the massive rancor the moment the Force alerted him to the danger. Lunging behind a massive rib cage of a deceased rancor, he was able to escape its view. He knew it was only temporary because these beasts have an attuned sense of smell, perfect for hunting their prey.

He was asked by his former apprentice, Taranae Rhode, who was now his clan's Rollmaster, to meet him on Felucia. She told him there was some concerns and evidence that might lead to the traitors that caused the destruction of the Predominant, the Nebula-classed Star Destroyer that the former Admiral was in charge of at the time of its destruction.

Reaching out with the Force, Brimstone tried to find any trace of the Knight. After a few tense moments of searching, he found her about one hundred meters south, but headed his way, unaware of the impending danger she was walking into. I have to do something quick or she'll be dead the Chiss thought to himself. Again relying on his ability to tap into the Force, he levitated a massive vertebrae of a rancor and hurtled it towards the old rancor, slamming it with tremendous force upside its head. The creature, caught unaware, let out a loud roar as it was knocked down to the ground, hitting hard and stirring up a massive cloud of dust.

The sound of the startled rancor was heard from the distance by Taranae and she realized that her former master was ahead of her. Great, he started the fun without me she thought as she drew upon her connection to the Force to enhance her speed and ran towards the direction of the beast's scream. As she came up to the graveyard's location, with the dust settling, She noticed the rancor starting to lift itself up and it locked its eyes upon the Plagueian.

"Oh sith-spit!" she exclaimed.

Taranae knew she had no time, and the element of surprise was lost to her as the rancor's beady eyes locked onto her. It let out a thunderous roar as it began to amble slowly towards her, picking up speed as it did so. The distance between them was lessening rapidly and Taranae knew she had to act fast before the beast was upon her.

Looking around in desperation, she noticed an outcropping of rock in the wall not far from her position. She had an idea, but hoped Brimstone would notice what she was trying to do and rect accordingly. If what she was about to do worked, it would save both their hides. Calling on the Force, she used the extra strentgh it afforded her to assist her in leaping up the sides of the crater using whatever handholds and footholds she could find. The rancor roared its frustration as it realised its quarry was escaping, but Taranae continued undeterred. Turning sharply, the rancor began to head towrads her position. Reaching the wall, it began to claw and rake the surface, dislodging dirt and rock in te process, trying to reach its elusive prey.

just as she reached the top of the wall, the ledge she was trying to grab crumbled in her fingers and her hand slipped. She gave a short, shrill scream as all her weight was suddenly taken by her right arm and shoulder as her left hand lost its grip on the ledge. The debris plummeted past her as she hung there and as she watched, it bounced off the snout of her enemy, causing it to growl in pain. As it began its onslaught of the rock face again, she swung her arm up and over the top of the wall, using all the strength she could muster, and pulled herself up. She was exhausted after the climb and the near fall into the monster's gullet, but she knew she still had to stop the beast before it decide to try and find Brimstone again.

As if on cue, a huge rock hit the rancor in the side of the head. Way to go, Brim she thought, as the rancor roared its pain across the crater in the direction from which the rock had come.

Taking this brief moment to act, Taranae drew her lightsaber and leaped from the outcropping as the monster began to head towards the area she believed Brimstone to be hidden. The rancor's reaction was immediate as it began to roar, and it swatted the area where Taranae had landed on its head. It still marched on towards Brimstone's hiding place as it growled and continued trying to grab her or at least knock her from its head. Taranae raised her weapon above her head with the blade pointed directly at the rancor's thick skull and drove it home deeply.

Faltering in its stride, the rancor screamed as the blade pierced its skull. It staggered hapharzardly and meandered as the pain registered and it fell forwards towards the huge ribcage of a long forgotten beast. Taranae leaped to her feet as the beast fell and caught a glimpse of her former Master racing from the shelter of the bones that had been hiding him. He looked up at her and grinned as the beast tumbled and she smiled back, not believing she had been victorious against her foe. As the rancor hit the ground, she had braced to jump, but with her attention being on Brim, her judgement was off. They both crashed to the ground, Taranae thrown from her perch.

She flew into another pile of bones, not far from Brim's concealment, and slid to the ground where she lay, unmoving.

Dang girl, thought I taught you to tuck and roll thought the Chiss as his former apprentice. He withdrew his lightsaber and hurried along to the beast's crash site, keeping a wary eye for any other rancor's that might come. Even though the beast was more than likely dead, Brimstone didn't want to risk the chance so he drove his lightsaber blade into the fallen and split its skull completely open, spilling its brain and mucus membrane all over the graveyard's dusty flooring. He then walked over and kneeled down next to Taranae and placed his hand on her forehead and channeled the Force to give her a light shock, which immediately jolted her to consciousness.

"What was that for, Master?" she said from the shock she received.

"Can't leave you sleeping on the job, Apprentice" replied the Chiss.

After they both laughed, Brimstone helped her up with an outstretched hand and a tug upwards. "So what's it like to surpass me, becoming our Roll Master of Plagueis?"

She dusted off her combat uniform, looking around for her lightsaber. She found it quickly and pulled it back to her with the Force, clipping it to her utility belt. "It is tougher than I thought, but Aabsdu has no concerns in my ability to handle it" she replied. "But that's not why I contacted you to meet me here."

"And that is what? Your message was vague, but you have word of the traitors?"

"I was able to discern that a few members, current and former, had given away the Predominant's location and sabotage the ships defense systems" she continued, "But Plagueis wasn't the target, you were the target."

This revelation was of no shock to the Chiss. He had stepped on people's nerves in the Brotherhood. "Well that's just like a coward. Can't face a enemy and let them know their intentions, but it was a waste of life they extinguished. I made many enemies since I've been here and they can just take a number and wait in line. I have no plans to dying any time soon."

"Well, they are working with the One Sith and from what I was able to find is that they are planning on using this planet as a secret base for ambushing the Brotherhood as well as Plagueis."

"That would be an intelligent move. Felucia is located perfectly between us and Korriban, their headquarters. Maybe we can spy on them and get some information for the Dark Council" Brimstone said with a sneeze. "Dang dust allergies."

A loud roar was heard in the distance from another rancor that was coming to die in the graveyard. "Let's move out before we have to kill another beast."
