Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Talen-Rohad has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Talen-Rohad's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Talen-Rohad's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.

Talen is very surprisingly friendly and is known to near always smile as she goes far out of her way to make new friends and break the social stigma of Chiss being xenophobic. According to many, she initially appears to have carry a very military aura and demeanor while in reality she is very friendly and informal. This often is shown in Talen's extremely curious and inquisitive nature. She has no fear or shyness in asking questions about most any and all subjects which often times helps her learn new things but also makes her very easily distracted and she is known to stray completely off course trying to find information. However this sometimes becomes useful as she can sometimes get information from people that others couldn't.

Talen-Rohad tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Talen-Rohad prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Talen-Rohad? Talen-Rohad doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Talen-Rohad, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Talen-Rohad isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Talen-Rohad won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Talen-Rohad will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.

Talen's preferred combat technique is quite unorthodox and somewhat based on using her cybernetic left leg to her advantage. Talen uses her cybernetic left leg to her advantage and uses its hooked claws to grip various surfaces and manipulate certain objects with more finesse then her usual hands. However this attachment makes her run with an uneven, loping posture and also clinks loudly against metallic surfaces. Talen does maximize the uses of it however, as she can put more weight on it than her other leg and it is easier to pivot around during combat. The downside being that it is highly vulnerable to ion attacks and Mechu-Deru. However this style can sometimes go horrifically wrong as, due to the homemade prosthetic and Talen's questionable knowledge of machinery, her leg is prone to mechanical failures and will sometimes lockup, go limp, become unresponsive or even fall apart at random and sometimes inconvenient times.
