Geralt Ri'via does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Geralt Ri'via will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Geralt Ri'via around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
While Geralt Ri'via will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Geralt Ri'via's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Geralt Ri'via's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Geralt Ri'via, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Arhen Zomm's life has taught him one thing. His emotions betray him and that he shouldn't use them in battle either. He has lost all ability to feel emotion, be it compassion or sadness. Arhen Zomm doesn't hide his feelings, he completely destroys them. Thus he fights not with emotion, but with the will to survive or the will to get some money.
Arhen Zomm has no respect towards people who use blasters. He always fights with swords and on rare occasions with his lightsaber, although he never backs out if his opponents have more firepower than him. Even when fighting with speeders or spaceships, he prefers to shoot way less than he should.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Geralt Ri'via? Geralt Ri'via doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Geralt Ri'via, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Geralt Ri'via isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Geralt Ri'via won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Geralt Ri'via will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Geralt Ri'via will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.
