Covered in golden fur, this Shistavenen stands out from his fellows. His yellow eyes are framed by his high cheekbones and his torn right ear makes him easy to locate in a crowd. His long face and wide, slightly upturned nose give him more angular facial features. After being injured in a childhood accident, Gin walks with a notable limp. Scars arc across knees and lower legs when they are exposed, testifying to the painful experience. Age has begun to take its toll upon this Mercenary, with his fur thinning out and his stomach growing notably pudgy.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Gin Voca. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Gin Voca only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Gin Voca to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Someone in Gin Voca’s past was killed and he has vowed to avenge their death. Should the object of his vengeance be discovered, he is likely to do whatever he can to exact revenge, no matter the cost.
Gin Voca rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Gin Voca is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Gin Voca is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.
Gin Voca manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Gin Voca will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Gin Voca's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
If Gin Voca had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
Gin Voca vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
