Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Dacien Victae creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Dacien Victae creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Dacien Victae has both been there and done that. he thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Dacien Victae and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.
Despite his line of work, Dacien Victae still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Dacien Victae only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.
Born and raised at the height of the Galactic Empire, Dacien served as an officer in the Imperial Navy during its dying days. In a few short years, the stability and certainty he had known as a child vanished from the galaxy. He discovered and honed his latent Force sensitivity amidst the chaos of a fracturing Imperial Remnant. He now sees his ascension in the dark side of the Force as a means to a noble end: restoring the ordered society of his half-remembered youth. Under his guiding hand, of course.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Dacien Victae has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Dacien Victae then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Dacien Victae has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
Dacien Victae wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
