Zxyl Venzos is an ancient behemoth from time before the High Republic; a massive Dashade standing nearly seven feet tall. Visually imposing, Venzos has a hulking stature and well-crafted build that features a large chest cavity and as a result, a slightly higher center of gravity. His skin is primarily a very-dark grey shade, almost appearing black in color. Zxyl has no hair on his body to speak of, and a rough complexion due to his rough reptilian skin.
Zxyl's arms and particularly his two hands are large, both featuring large claws. His lamprey-style mouth is filled with teeth that are pointed and light-grey in color. His body is intricately inscribed with a couple dark crimson tattoos, and Venzos has three major cybernetics to speak of; including the Dashade's eyes striking eyes.
Completely mechanical in their appearance, these eyes feature onyx sclera that surround a set of bright and illuminated, LED powered orange irises. At the center are bright yellow pupils, surrounded a black ring separating the pupils
Zxyl's left hand was separated from his body centuries ago just below the elbow, requiring a mechanical replacement. It is sinister in its design with a black exterior and dark crimson interior plating, not bearing any synthflesh.
A dark crimson tattoo of a sharp, and anciently-tribal nature runs up Zxyl's left arm in its entirety from the point at which his flesh mates with the black cybernetic to across his shoulder blade, all inscribed with the Old Tongue, ur-Kittât. Another dark crimson tattoo of a similar nature surrounded by true black ink runs down the center of his spine from the base of the neck, usually concealed by apparel. It branches off like a tree across various parts of his back.
Some have the belief that the Force is the guiding principle in the galaxy, a power that creates and changes people's destinies based on their standing and actions taken. Zxyl goes against this grain. This Force Disciple does not conform to any norms enforced upon him, whether they be social, procedural, technical, or cultural, instead having formed the belief that he alone controls and forges his own destiny.
This freedom allows Venzos to make choices, moral or otherwise, that others may find hard and not be held back by the notion that the Force does not will him so and therefore he cannot or will fail in his endeavors. Unfortunately, this belief system also forces him to take more risks, sometimes putting himself or others in dangerous situations needlessly.
Zxyl once lived a prosperous life under the Ancient Sith, but after awakening from a deep stasis nearly a millenium later has found much of his power sealed away inside and his connection to the Force fractured. This Dashade endeavours to do whatever he can to restore his full abilities. While he works on this objective, much of Venzos' more extreme capabilities and powers manifest subconsciously or through pure instinct.
Zxyl is a well measured behemoth of sheer will and commitment, with an immense level of focus and Resolve on his end goal. He allows nothing to stand in his way of his intended target or objective, whether they be friend or foe. While not a cruel being, Venzos will punish those that inhibit his progress.
Zxyl Venzos is unconcerned with collateral damage, procedural norms, or the rules of engagement. His goal is to eliminate the target or complete the objective, and failure is not an option. Even if severely injured, he will soldier on. This brash and somewhat reckless do-it-or-die mentality often puts Venzos at an increased risk of a permanent injury or impairment.
Zxyl Venzos has patience... sort of. Although he comes off slightly angry, he will tolerate failure once or twice. Zxyl does not however tolerate repeated failures from anyone, let alone his subordinates. Although his level of discontent with these failures depends on the person performing them and how erroneous the error made is, he will ultimately always show a small bit of dissatisfaction towards these failures.
Zxyl incorporates his abilities as a Shadow and basic knowledge of Shadow Step into his preferred hunting method; by stealth. He usually infiltrates enemy territory or tracks targets using his abilities to hide himself from view or alter his physical image to be less conspicuous, waiting for the most opportune moment to strike as taught by the principles of his chosen martial art. While this allows him the opportunity to plan out an encounter or first-strike against an enemy, it impedes his ability to improvise should he slip up or be discovered.
Zxyl Venzos is no typical Force-sensitive combatant, utilitarian in his combat abilities. When dealing with a difficult or Force-sensitive adversary, Venzos prefers to use his deceptive lightsaber combat skills in Juyo and creative usage of the Force.
When restricted of his typical weapons Zxyl gets creative and is not above improvising a weapon the job done, such as a hydrospanner or eating utensil. For all his experience and skill with weapon improvisation, Venzos lacks a dedicated way of dealing with a group of ranged adversaries at once and operates at disadvantage in these situations, requiring him to pick them off one-by-one to ensure his survival.
