Slightly taller, broad-shouldered, and muscular, Raziel is a tanned man firmly in silver fox territory, with salt and pepper hair that he keeps just past his shoulders and usually tied up in a bun. His tidy facial hair, which consists of a mustache, chin, and jawline hair, are colored to match. As a member of the Miraluka species, he has no eyes and instead wears wraps as fitting his culture. A lifetime of conflict and working with his hands at a forge has left him with dozens of fine scars across his arms and chest, more visible when he's been out in the sun longer than usual.
Raziel looks at any problem he comes across and instead of immediately complaining about it sets out to figuring out a solution. He will work tirelessly to find workarounds or a solution, but can often overthink the resolution and come up with a "fix" that is actually more complex than needed. This driven approach to fixing problems can be helpful at times but grating at others when a simple "restart" would have accomplished the task quicker than re-programming the entire device.
Raziel grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Raziel bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Raziel has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises his objective.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Raziel's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Not evil, but not wholly good either, Raziel is trained in the ways of the Jensaarai of Susevfi. This training has instilled in him honor and discipline, as well as a healthy understanding of his own feelings and emotions. He is marked as a member of this path by the way he maintains and reveres his armor. As a less than light side adherent, he is in no way shy about Force Choking a threat to get his point across or to deescalate a situation, but this, as in all things where Raziel is concerned, is tempered with control. He is also not shy about taking action, preferring to do something instead of contemplating it.
Owing to his study of the Djem So form of lightsaber combat, Raziel has embodied the overwhelming force aspect of the form. His combat style is less bloodthirsty and reckless than a full berserker, but not by much. When engaged in violence, he becomes single-minded and driven towards the goal of utterly overwhelming and devastating his opponent. While this technique offers some defensive opportunities, there aren't many, so when he can't properly overpower his opponent mentally and physically, it leaves him somewhat lacking.
Raziel possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Raziel does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
