Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Sulon Tiful creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Sulon Tiful creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.

While Sulon Tiful will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Sulon Tiful's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Sulon Tiful's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Sulon Tiful, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Sulon Tiful doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Sulon Tiful two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Sulon Tiful often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.

Sulon Tiful likes to engage in detailed discussions and think through situations carefully, often collaborating with others to seek their opinions before deciding on the best course of action. While this often ensures Sulon Tiful is more fair and well-respected amongst his peers, sometimes others do not have time to discuss this in a committee.

Without the gift of the Force, Sulon Tiful has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Sulon Tiful has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.

Sulon Tiful may wear a lightsaber at his waist, but he always goes for his trusty blaster instead, preferring to shoot it out from range rather than trying to get in up-close and personal. Only as a last resort will he go for his lightsaber.
