Synin is a tall, gaunt Bpfasshi. Dark side corruption riddles his face, sulfuric beady eyes peering out from recessed eye sockets. Numerous burst blood vessels mar his pale complexion. He has short, black, unkempt hair and his hands and robes are covered in oil and grease smears, combining to give him quite the disheveled appearance. His robes are simple and black.

Synin is perhaps the top engineer serving the One Sith. He can fix virtually anything and has been responsible for many "advancements" in weapons technology, including his own customized droids and weaponry, and will use his abilities with Amplification to aid in repair or augmentation of technology by speeding his physical movements in repairs. He is frequently assigned to One Sith military installations with sensitive equipment, though he always beings his compliment of three droids with him.
Synin is highly reliant on his droid companions, not just in combat, but in his work, as well. Though he is an accomplished One Sith interrogator, no small part of that is based on his reliance on his modified IT-O droid. His courier droid, modified to serve as an assassin, still functions as a sort of floating mouth piece for Synin's will, and his communicator can be used to directly speak through the unit to other subordinates. He has also modified his YVH-1 to be a fully functional protocol droid, as well, and leans on it for many tasks in his daily life. In fact, at times it seems like the YVH-1 gives him orders.
Synin believes in a particular type of reason that alludes virtually everyone else - except his YVH-1, which can convince him of almost anything. It's possible to convince him of something, and he will engage in a debate or discussion, but nothing based on reason, logic, or emotion seems to sway him. Indeed, Synin has become so twisted and insane that completely strange and seemingly illogical arguments are often those that are the most compelling to him. He is also quick to anger - especially when it comes to his engineered creations or his droids - and frequently will change his mind with no clear reason behind it. Were it not for his raw power and aptitude with machinery, he likely would have been discarded by the One Sith long ago.
Normally calm and reserved, all that changes when it comes to Synin's droids and tinkerings. Synin's possessiveness with his engineering marvels borders on insanity. He has been known to kill subordinates that he thought were trying to steal his droids when they merely were conversing with them. His YVH-1 seems to take uncharacteristic grim delight in this for a droid, sometimes attempting to trick people into trusting it, only to cause the ire of its master. He grows unstable and uncomfortable when separated too long from his droids, particularly the YVH-1 unit.
Synin believes he is above combat... or at least, that is what his YVH-1 tells him. He prefers to keep his hands "clean" (at least of the blood of his interrogation subjects or opponents), and despite his possessiveness, he will always use his droids in combat, something the YVH-1 unit delights in. He keeps his distance and only draws his lightsaber to defend himself when absolutely necessary. When his droids are damaged, Synin flies into a deadly rage, unleashing the full power of the dark side on his opponents.
Using his own variation on mechu-deru, Synin is known to imbue random droids and technology with the dark side of the Force and even a degree of sentience. His own droids themselves seem tainted with the dark side, and only Synin knows what exactly he has done to them. In combat, Synin will try to bend virtually anything he can to his will, but particularly prefers using droids to dispatch foes. He also has an extraordinary connection to his droids, and is able to use Telepathy to communicate with them or Sense to sense them.
