Kavis Varik is ruggedly handsome, with a long scar down the left side of his face. He has grey eyes, with dark brown hair and a lightly tanned complexion. His hair is kept short, but well groomed with no facial hair. Although not overly muscular, he is clearly in shape for a human.
Legend Kavis Varik has not created any public loadouts yet.
Kavis Varik is no greenhorn when it comes to dealing with those who wish him ill. At some point, he managed to cross the wrong people, and now they've got a mark on his hide for it. While such experiences have hardened him for adrenaline-filled moments of evading those who seek to make him their quarry, he can never be quite sure if he is truly safe, for promises of wealth or power can turn even the most seemingly stalwart of allies to enemies with knives poised at his back.
Kavis Varik lives his life under a simple rule: Keep It Simple, Stupid. His professions are inherently complicated and dangerous, and as such Kavis tried to make all of his plans and actions as simple and straight-forward as possible. He does not needlessly add any complications to his life if he doesn't have to. Being so straight-forward can also make Kavis predictable at times and needing to rely on skill alone to get out of certain situations.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Kavis Varik's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Nearly every decision that Kavis Varik makes is put through the filter of how it will affect his best friend, Tovar Daklan. Because of him, Tovar was brutally tortured by the First Order. Kavis saved his friend, but he can never forgive himself for what Tovar went through. He will spend the rest of his life atoning for his actions.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Kavis Varik takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Kavis Varik tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
Kavis Varik prefers a stealthier approach when attacking, utilising either his hands or a bladed weapon and getting as close to his target as possible. While comfortable with a blaster, Kavis always wants to try and keep things as quiet as possible so that he can control the situation. His instincts are honed to go the stealthier approach when attacking, regardless of the actual situation, which can get him in trouble when stealth is not an option.
