She will work tirelessly to find workarounds or a solution, but can often overthink the resolution and come up with a "fix" that is actually more complex than needed. This driven approach to fixing problems can be helpful at times but grating at others when a simple "restart" would have accomplished the task quicker than re-programming the entire device.

Vassa Lyal sees herself as the control subject in the science experiment called life. Often labeled as "boring" and "predictable", Vassa Lyal keeps her wild and experimental side reserved for pet projects. This boring lifestyle leads to her being considered anti-social and when she does join others, instead of relaxing she prefers to keep quiet and observe.

Vassa Lyal is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Vassa Lyal to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Vassa Lyal can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.

When Vassa Lyal gets in trouble, she finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that she tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for her compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made her the most popular among her peers, but hey, at least Vassa Lyal isn't dead yet.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Vassa Lyal takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario she might expect to encounter. Vassa Lyal tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and she often finds herself at a loss in situations that go beyond what she could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, her perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
