Cadmus Drake will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Cadmus Drake will not bother confronting them.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Cadmus Drake creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Cadmus Drake creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Cadmus Drake is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Cadmus Drake will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Cadmus Drake in a bit of trouble.
All who gain power are afraid to lose it, and Cadmus Drake is no exception. Some use their power for good, some for evil; Cadmus Drake, however, knows that these are just points of view. He is on a quest for greater power, and uses all his skills and abilities to ensure his supremacy, regardless of the consequences.
Cadmus Drake seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Cadmus Drake. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Cadmus Drake takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Cadmus Drake tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
