Well toned athletic body which is marred by a scar that runs over her belly up to her chest and lower part of her left breast. Her hair is a deep dark blue which is cut to reach just over her ears. Otherwise she is a tell tale Chiss, blue skin with red eyes, with a stern focused look on her face, which would look cute if she didn't.
Ankira Irr is a foundling, and was adopted into Mandalorian culture by the Mandalorian Clan that looked after her. It seems only fitting then, that she, along with her partner, Appius, adopted a foundling of their own.
Being a Foundling has come with its fair share of criticisms. Some claim Foundlings are not true Mandalorians, and Ankira attempts to prove everyday not just to herself, but her children too, that Foundlings are as every bit Mandalorian as those born on Mandalore itself.
Contrary to a lot of Mandalorians that don't remove their helmets because they follow the way of the Mandalore, Ankira has an entirely different reason; she doesn't want anyone seeing her face.
Chiss Mandalorians are almost nonexistent in a galaxy far, far away, and she has often faced prejudice and unjustified judgement because of it. There are a small handful of exceptions to who has, and who is allowed to see her face, but otherwise she keeps it concealed behind her helmet at all times.
If there's one thing that unites most Mandalorians together. It's the job at hand, the thrill of the hunt, and taking matters into your own hands.
Ankira Irr is no different. She takes the contracts she takes very seriously to a obsessive degree. Once Ankira is on a mission, she is relentless in her pursuit to complete her objective.
Whilst this is an admirable quality to have in a Mercenary, many misunderstand Ankira as being all work, no play. Which is far from the truth.
It takes a lot to get to know Ankira Irr. Many don't often see past the several exterior layers of tough, Mandalorian-built defenses she put in place for herself. Only one person outside of her aliit has ever gotten through them. Appius Wight.
With him, she can be herself. She giggles, laughs, squeals, jokes and most importantly, smiles. It's a side of her not many get to see, but at least she can show it with him. As a result, she's more open being herself around others, such as Aylin Sajark.
Long times apart can be difficult for the young woman to deal with. As such, she often retreats back into her shell and turn to missions for a distraction.
Ankira Irr has honed and trained in such a way that her body itself is a living weapon. She is a highly adept and skilled user of Mandalorian Core, and in close combat she doesn't try to just win, but attempts to utterly decimate and destroy her enemy in the most brutal and painful way possible.
Mandalorian Core isn't known for being a style laced with honour. Others often frown upon her for being so barbaric in her attacks. Plus, against martial artists that can match her skills, she can find herself becoming exhausted very quickly.
From the moment she was adopted into her aliit as a Foundling, Ankira Irr has been trained to live, breathe, and fight like a Mandalorian.
Ankira attempts to make extensive use of her weapons. The Vambraces provide a way to fight unconventionally with poisons, a flamethrower, and a grappling line. Yet, her favourite of her weapons is her twin WESTAR blasters, which she uses whether near or far to try and overwhelm her enemies with a series of blaster shots.
As effective as this all is, Ankira suddenly becomes very vulnerable when her weapons are either destroyed or disabled. Especially against other ranged combatants who can then use that range to their advantage.
