"Shank" Elmer Blue is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, "Shank" Elmer Blue is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, "Shank" Elmer Blue knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
"Shank" Elmer Blue never really learned the definition of true consequence. He has “thieved” and tricked his way into the hearts of strangers, friends, and family but has never dealt with nor experienced a heavy sense of responsibility for those actions. This makes "Shank" Elmer Blue a very carefree soul, but he isn’t one for serious conversations or threats.
Embarrassed by his birth name of Elmer, Shank will go out of his way to keep others from learning his real name. Those that learn of his true identity and make it known will find that Elmer becomes incredibly flustered as he attempts to deflect.
Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, "Shank" Elmer Blue has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about his situation, or to taunt his enemies. While some find "Shank" Elmer Blue to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally "Shank" Elmer Blue will get himself into more trouble than he thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.
When "Shank" Elmer Blue gets in trouble, he finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that he tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for his compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made him the most popular among his peers, but hey, at least "Shank" Elmer Blue isn't dead yet.
"Shank" Elmer Blue will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak themselves in the Force. The less they are seen the better. If they cannot sneak up on someone, then "Shank" Elmer Blue will not bother confronting them.
