Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.

Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.

Despite his line of work, Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl would much rather be behind a hand of good sabacc cards or a rare vintage of aged liquor than with his blasters or ship. More often than not, he will spend nights at high-end establishments gambling, drinking and "socializing". Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl can survive without the finer things, but he sure would rather not. This preference follows him onto the job, so it is not uncommon for Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl to insult a client or potential partner by commenting on their choice of beverage or recreation.

Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak themselves in the Force. The less they are seen the better. If they cannot sneak up on someone, then Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl will not bother confronting them.

Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Robert "Mando Bob" san Syl. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
