Mavok "Maves" Ravel always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Mavok "Maves" Ravel is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.

Mavok "Maves" Ravel looks at any problem he comes across and instead of immediately complaining about it sets out to figuring out a solution. He will work tirelessly to find workarounds or a solution, but can often overthink the resolution and come up with a "fix" that is actually more complex than needed. This driven approach to fixing problems can be helpful at times but grating at others when a simple "restart" would have accomplished the task quicker than re-programming the entire device.

The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Mavok "Maves" Ravel is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. He tries to help everyone he can, even at his own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.

Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Mavok "Maves" Ravel has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about his situation, or to taunt his enemies. While some find Mavok "Maves" Ravel to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Mavok "Maves" Ravel will get himself into more trouble than he thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.

Mavok "Maves" Ravel doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Mavok "Maves" Ravel has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Mavok "Maves" Ravel then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Mavok "Maves" Ravel has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
