Alana spends hours upon hours reading and studying books and ancient documents. When she's focused on her research, there's not a lot that can break her focus, to the point where she forgets to eat, sleep and ignores everyone around her.

Even when she's away from a library or her books, she'll be thinking about her research and some ancient artifacts she wants to study, meaning she'll more than often be clueless as to what is happening around her and wonder where she is or what she was going to do in the first place.

Like any Hapan, Alana has bad eyesight in the dark. To worsen her case, she also has to wear glasses due to her extreme myopia. Take away her glasses and she's basically a Miraluka, withouth the Force helping her vision. When Alana is not wearing her glasses she has virtually no sight after two meters, only being able to distinguish blobs of color. She also often suffers with headaches, especially in the evening.

Alana relies on her archaelogical studies and inquisitive mind to always think of possible connections between two or more events, even when there's none. This causes her to often disregard simple solutions or explanations and instead present wild theories and outcomes for eveyday situations.

Alana always tries to see the best in people. She assumes everyone is friendly and often tries to communicate with strangers as if they were already old acquaintances. Others may take advantage of her optimistic nature to harm her, deceive her or just toy with her.

Being used to handle fragile relics all the time, Alana has steady hands and precise movements. She applies those movements when she is forced into combat. Her punches and kicks are on point, almost always landing where she intended them to. But she throws weaker than average punches and careful kicks.

Alana was taught by Aru Law on how to properly shoot a blaster. She knows how to point, aim and shoot. However, she has a tendency to close her eyes before shooting in anticipation of the blaster sounds being too loud. This means there's a brief period before shooting where she isn't actually looking at her target.
