Brakus Okami doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Brakus Okami sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Brakus Okami is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.

Killing has never been a problem for Brakus Okami; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Brakus Okami does, and he likes what he does.

Despite his line of work, Brakus Okami still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Brakus Okami only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Brakus Okami will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Brakus Okami's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts him into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While he may not be the one to always start a fight, he will always see it through to it’s conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Brakus Okami initiates or accepts a challenge, he does not hold back.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Brakus Okami has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Brakus Okami is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
