Apoc has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Apoc downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Apoc. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Apoc only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Apoc to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Killing has never been a problem for Apoc; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Apoc does, and he likes what he does.
Apoc has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to himself, relying on deception to conceal his motives and intentions. He is a schemer, and plots and plans against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, he will try and bluff his way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Apoc? Apoc doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Apoc, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Apoc isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Apoc won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Apoc will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Apoc has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Apoc is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
