As a Neti, Malik has brown, bark-like skin and his extremities appear like branches. Maintaining a humanoid form, he adopts a somewhat athletic build and features. Looking at his face, his dark green eyes stand out as well as the thin branches that take the place of a humanoid's hair. This is at odds with his resting, natural form that is more recognizably tree-like in appearance.
Malik Sadow has both been there and done that. he thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Malik Sadow and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.
Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Malik Sadow creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Malik Sadow creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Malik Sadow manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Malik Sadow will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Malik Sadow's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
Malik was once a dedicated follower of Naga Sadow, but times have changed. Deciding he has watched the destructive nature of his Clan go on long enough, Malik has become a founding member of the Knights of Daragon. Like their legendary namesake, Gav Daragon, they too are one-time followers of Sadow who have turned and work in favor of justice.
He carefully works against the Clan's more chaotic elements in secret while serving it publicly. Malik believes in justice and bringing down those who he considers evil. Due to the long lifespan of his species he often tends to make plans that may take years or decades to come to fruition.
This can lead to frustration from the other Knights of Daragon as well as members of Naga Sadow, who often finds this frustrating.
Malik Sadow doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
Malik Sadow possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Malik Sadow does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
