Darcy looks like a typical human his age, with a lean and muscular build, a pale complexion, and jet black hair that he keeps at a short length with a fringe. His green eyes are flecked with flaws of blue. His only noteworthy trait is a tattoo at the nape of his neck, which signifies that he was a slave who once belonged to Nalya the Hutt.
Darcy has set up many deals in the past several years where he has ripped off, short changed, bartered or betrayed someone big, and now it is time to pay up. Darcy still tries to turn events and favors to his own advantage, but now he actually delivers what he promises most of the time. There are still a lot of hard feelings out there however, and a lot of organizations are willing to collect any way they can... and not always at a price that can be paid.
Darcy was originally sold into slavery at the hands of Nalya the Hutt, and was taken in as a foundling by Clan Vizsla following an operation on the Godless Matron. He has now sworn to uphold the Resol’nare himself, and he does his best to ensure that his Clan and the other foundlings are protected and provided for, as he was himself. He still carries negative feelings from his time spent in slavery, and will lash out at slavers and protect younglings regardless of the consequences to his mission.
Having freed himself from slavery, Darcy now lives his life how he wants, free from authority and control. Goofing off and having fun will always play a part in his decision making, and he always finds time to enjoy life a little at someone else’s expense. He lives a lawless and comfortable lifestyle thanks to numerous contacts from nearly every criminal underworld including the Syndicate, where he runs the gamut from thief to smuggler, bodyguard to bounty hunter, and will enjoy himself until it is time to pick up his earnings and be on his merry.
Darcy has a gift for socializing and fast-talking. He always has something to say, whether it’s sarcasm, observations, jokes and jibes or random discussions about completely unrelated topics.
This sets him at odds with his less social peers, who find his constant streams of conversation more of a curse than a blessing, but makes him exceptionally talented at what he does best: talking his way into and out of trouble, often at the expense of anyone unlucky enough to be nearby.
While he is now a sworn Mandalorian, Darcy remains reluctant to kill anyone. He will never kill in cold blood, and he will always try to debilitate and disarm organic opponents if he can. He keeps his blasters set to medium power to injure, stun and incapacitate, only switching up when he needs to deal with armored foes or droids. If you want your target brought in alive he is more than happy to oblige, but killing costs extra... and sometimes, targets get away.
Born with a silver tongue, Darcy will still try to bluff or lie or barter his way out of trouble. This doesn’t always work, and it often leads in unexpected directions, forcing Darcy to improvise his way through every situation. That suits him just fine, as he isn’t really a guy with a plan; he just likes to wave at plans as they float past, then go in and play whatever cards are in his hand. He usually has a few tricks up his sleeves for when things go sideways, but he will always try to string his opponents along with the hope that he can turn the tables on them before he inevitably runs out of string.
