Reiden Karr is fiercely loyal. He will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety of his fellow clan members and those he cares for. If someone hurts them, he will hunt that person down. While this may be commendable at times, other times it can lead him to make decisions based more on emotion rather than logic or strategy, and may come back to bite him later.

While Reiden Palpatine Karr's memory is not eidetic, it is still quite impressive. He can often recall information with ease, whether it be from the past or something more recent, even small details. It could be something from his school days, his own research, or something he overhead once. Combined with his perception and attention to detail, it makes for a formidable asset. Unfortunately, sometimes that information can be something that others would rather be forgotten and not brought up again, let alone shared with a broader audience. Knowing when to share something can become an artful balancing act between being helpful and being problematic.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Reiden Palpatine Karr's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Whether it be in regard to himself or others, Reiden Palpatine Karr can appreciate being direct and upfront about things. When it comes to sharing his own thoughts, he’ll generally tell it like he sees it. However, he does understand that there are times when a more empathetic or tactful approach is needed to achieve a desired end result. In these instances, he’ll weigh his options first before speaking, choosing his words carefully so as not to make things worse. It may not always work, but sometimes a kind word or a bit of understanding does the trick.

Being on his own for most of his adolescence, Reiden Palpatine Karr learned the importance of making good use of everything around him, and it has stuck with him ever since. Using the high ground and scaling objects are second nature to him. He can climb piping or swing from it to apply some added force to his attacks. Walls are just another surface to run on. Whether it is using the environment itself or other surrounding items and features, if it can help ensure that Reiden survives an encounter, he’ll try to find a way to make use of it. However, combat situations tend to unfold quickly and nobody is perfect, so sometimes even things right in front of him can be missed in the heat of the moment.

Reiden Palpatine Karr has always been good at paying attention to things and picking up details, sometimes those that others would miss, whether in everyday life and even during combat. Combining that with his skills in Precognition and Sense, Reiden’s approach to fights involves quickly studying his opponent’s movements, searching for an opening in their guard or attack pattern whenever possible and then working to counter or exploit it. Unfortunately, there are times when this won’t work, either due to time constraints or facing off against multiple adversaries. In these situations, he instead opts to end the fight as quickly as he can and move on.
