Ood's olive green bark-like skin has only just begun to harden. He appears like a very young example of his race. His pitch black eyes appear to convey a cheerful childish wonder.
His humanoid form appears indicates clearly how young he is. Thin wiry limbs connect to a slim trunk. Lightly darker narrow branches form the appearance of hair atop his head.
Young Ood Bnar is extremely competitive and strives to become the best at every task he is given. The benefit of this cutthroat approach to life and work is that he will always give 100%, pushing himself to his physical or mental limits to overcome any task. However, Young Ood Bnar’s overzealous ambition makes him insufferable to all but the most patient of companions, making it difficult to make friends while he either proves successful or utterly fails at being the best.
Young Ood Bnar is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.
Young Ood Bnar is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Young Ood Bnar is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.
Young Ood Bnar has a very bad attitude. He enjoys picking fights and causing trouble, and as such, he isn't phased by most encounters because, let's face it: he tends to be involved in quite a few of them around here!
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Young Ood Bnar prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Young Ood Bnar rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Young Ood Bnar is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Young Ood Bnar's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Young Ood Bnar has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
