Arturis stands slightly shorter than most humanoids at 1.3 meters, his frame and posture straight and dignified like a military veteran, radiating someone with a quiet strength and confidence despite his age. His fur is a rich brown, thick, well-groomed, and immaculate, giving him a look of disciplined refinement. His eyes, a deep ocean green, are striking and intense.
His facial features are sharp and defined, with a strong, angular jawline. His ears are long and floppy, while his nose is small and slightly rounded, blending seamlessly with the rest of his facial structure. Despite his age, his physique remains strong and robust though is hidden by his fur. His limbs are long and well-proportioned, allowing for both strength and agility.
His most distinctive feature is his tail, a long, bushy appendage that often is held upward, just as meticulously groomed as the rest of his fur.

Arturis’s extensive military experience grants him a sharp intuition for anticipating enemy movements and battlefield dynamics. His ability to sense subtle changes in the situation allows him to preemptively counter threats, adapt strategies, and maintain a tactical advantage. His instinctive understanding often leads to successful outcomes and well-timed interventions. However, this reliance on intuition can sometimes lead him to overestimate the accuracy of his predictions. When his instincts are off, it may result in misjudgments or risky decisions, potentially causing unforeseen complications or failures in critical moments. This can be especially problematic in rapidly evolving scenarios where empirical data might offer more reliable guidance than gut feelings alone.
Arturis’s resilience is forged through years of facing extreme challenges and emerging stronger each time. His ability to endure physical, mental, and emotional hardships makes him a pillar of strength, inspiring those around him to push through their own difficulties. Whether in the heat of battle or during moments of personal crisis, His steadfastness ensures he never gives up, no matter how dire the situation. His resilience is also evident in his adaptability; he can recover from setbacks quickly, learning from his experiences to become even more formidable.
This resilience, however, comes at a cost. His tough exterior often leads him to suppress his own vulnerabilities and emotions, creating an internal pressure that can eventually lead to burnout or emotional detachment. It may also lead others to perceive him as invulnerable, making it harder for him to receive support when he needs it and leaving him on his own.
Arturis' loyalty to Taldryan cannot be questioned, as is his loyalty to the Traditionalists whom uphold the ideals and tenants of Taldryan before it became the Republic. Because of the Supreme Chancellor's unwavering devotion to the preservation of Taldryan, Arturis is fiercely dedicated to protecting her. He has built a reputation as the leader of her Summit Guard, being known as her most reliable and trusted guardian. His extensive contingency plans ensure the Chancellor’s safety, anticipating threats before they arise.
This loyalty however, is two fold as if it ever came to choosing between Republic interests, Taldryan's, or the Chancellor's, he will prioritize the interests of the Chancellor and Taldryan above all else. Even if that meant making sacrifices or compromises that brought harm to those within the Republic. And should the Chancellor ever betray Taldryan, even she is not safe, a fact she herself greatly appreciates and openly respects.
Arturis’s stoic composure is a cornerstone of his leadership, providing a calming presence in even the most chaotic and high-pressure situations. His ability to remain emotionally detached allows him to think clearly and make rational decisions when others might panic. This composure instills confidence in his subordinates, who look to him as a pillar of stability during crises. His steady demeanor also enables him to endure difficult circumstances without showing weakness, which is crucial for maintaining morale and authority.
However, Arturis’s stoicism can also create distance between him and those seeking to get to know him on a more personal level. His refusal to show vulnerability or emotion can make him seem cold, unapproachable, or unfeeling. This emotional reserve may hinder deeper connections with others, potentially leading to misunderstandings or a lack of empathy in interpersonal relationships.
Arturis’s scepter, which acts as his cane, is actually a tactical disguise. It projects an image of physical limitation, making opponents believe he is less capable than he truly is. The cane’s presence helps mask his true capabilities, enabling him to engage in combat and strategic maneuvers with unexpected effectiveness. This camouflage provides him with a significant tactical advantage, as opponents are likely to underestimate his agility based on his appearance.
This illusion allows him to leverage the element of surprise, using his full combat prowess and mastery of the Force when his adversaries least expect it. However, maintaining this camouflage requires careful management. If adversaries detect the disparity between his appearance and his actual capabilities, they may recalibrate their tactics to account for his enhanced capabilities. This shift could reduce the effectiveness of his initial advantage, forcing him to adapt quickly to maintain his tactical edge.
Arturis carefully employs his force mastery of mind trick to infiltrate and control enemy decision-making processes, subtly guiding their actions. His ability to influence key figures allows him to steer the flow of battle without direct confrontation. However, his mental infiltration can be thwarted by strong-willed individuals or those with advanced mental defenses. When this occurs, the usage of a more weak-willed and low ranking individual to unwillingly kill nearby enemy officers or troops instead to create an environment of confusion and chaos among his enemies.
This tactic can lead to internal strife, disorientation, confusion, and weaken the enemies morale, creating opportunities for strategic advantage. However, orchestrating such chaos requires precise control and can sometimes result in unintended consequences if his targets act unpredictably. The ethical implications of using others to commit murder may also lead to complications if he is with individuals that are against this method of warfare.
