Vance Whitlock will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Vance Whitlock will not bother confronting them.

Vance Whitlock grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Vance Whitlock bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Vance Whitlock has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises his objective.

Vance Whitlock tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Vance Whitlock prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.

Vance Whitlock has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...

Without the gift of the Force, Vance Whitlock has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Vance Whitlock has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
