Kirra's eyes are her most unique features. She has two of them, yes, but one is a sharp, shining blue while the other is a faded, milky white. Each eye displays a different part of her heritage: Miraluka from her mother, Atyiru, and Hapan from her father, Marick. Just like her mother, she has tanned skin, a small curved nose flanked by freckles, and a mess of white, unruly hair that frequently needs to be tamed. She likewise inherited the pointed, angular Sephi ears that stand out from her round, soft face and a big, bright smile. Like her father, she is thin and lean and maintains a straight posture and never slouching.
If anyone ever wondered what her father would have been like if he lightened up a bit, they just need to spend a few minutes with his daughter. Despite her seemingly silly and bubbly demeanor, she is quite sharp and attentive. She has a very good memory, an eye for detail, and absorbs any and all information like a sponge. This makes it easy for her to get around limitations like her height, or locks on cookie jars, or figuring out why the yams do not want to grow next to the apples because they require different amounts of water and photo-syn-tent-is (photosynthesis). It can also get her into trouble when her inquisitive desire to know things causes her to ask a lot of questions, which in turn can grow tiring on both the adults and other children she spends time with.
Kirra's connection with the living Force has given her a unique relationship with the world around her. Thanks to her heterochromatic eyes that blend Miraluka Force-sight with conventional vision, she claims to be able to see "spirits" and glimpse into fragments of the future, and the World Beyond Worlds. She will often "know" things that no six-year-old should, and the details she shares are often too accurate to be the wistful imagination of a child. Between that, and frequently having one-sided conversations with herself, inanimate objects, or seemingly the wind, it is easy for her to be labeled as weird or troubled. While she doesn't seem to mind being labeled as such, there is a heavy weight that comes with her "gift", as the voices she hears, the things she can see, and things she learns can be overwhelming and enough to dampen even her brazen optimism towards life.
Kirra likes to make friends with everyone and everything she meets. Even if they don't feel the same way towards her. She does not like to impose on anyone, but will always smile and introduce herself and anyone she is with. She happily hands out nicknames, and will give anyone a hug (with consent). She loves receiving them just as much, feeding empathically on those small moments of joy, comfort, and understanding. She is not afraid to giggle, cry, or scream, so long as it's the proper place or time for such deeds. Sharing is caring, and whatever is hers she would gladly give to another if it meant helping them feel better.
She can definitely be over trusting, a dangerous thing for one so young, and she does feel sad when people are mean, rude, or seem to not care about others.
Kirra is remarkably patient for someone her age. She never cuts in line, always waits her turn, and never rushes anyone. She understands that everyone moves at their own pace and likely has their reasons for doing so. She does not judge people, accepts them for who and what they are, and will always try to brighten their day with a smile, a fun fact, or introducing them to a new friend!
She does not mind silence, or loud noises, and rarely loses focus when she sets her mind to a task. This kind of tunnel focus, however, can lead her to danger if she isn't careful of where she's going.
Kirra is a very good listener, which is an underrated skill in adults, let alone children. She is very attuned to people's emotions or feelings, the words they say, and how they say them. She can use these little details to her advantage when trying to get things she wants, like an extra cup of juice that her father said she couldn't have because she'd already had one earlier that day (ridiculous).
Kirra has an affinity for nature, and the creatures of the galaxy. She likes to make friends with them, earn their trust, and use them to either protect her, or aid her in her quest to defeat the guardians of the elusive cookie jar.
