Jade is a tall and brawny anzat with strong features and a strong jaw. He has fair olive skin that is lightly tanned and decorated by geometric tattoos reminiscent of, but uniquely distinct from, sith markings of ages past that travel up both arms from his wrists, across his neck, and meet at a point on his upper chest.
Dark chocolate brown hair cut into a high fade tops his head and fades into a well trimmed beard stopping just shy of connecting with a thick mustache.
He has crystal gray eyes with a thin orange ring at the edges of his iris and a scar that cuts into his right eyebrow, accentuating the sharpness of his facial features.
The bridge of his slightly bulbous nose is just a little crooked as though broken and never set, and is adorned by a thick gauged septum piercing which compliments four earrings running along his right ear, starting from his earlobe and moving halfway up the cartilage of the ear, as well as a double helix in the very top of his left ear cartilage.
Even before he left his home world to travel the galaxy, Jade was well aware of the fear and mistrust others had of his species. Taller than most Anzati and physically indistinguishable from a human while his proboscises were retracted, it is usually effortless for him to pass as human. Coupled with his desire to only feed on others in very specific circumstances, Jade long ago took to identifying himself to others purely as human.
While it is extremely rare for him to reveal his true nature to anyone he isn't about to feed on, this is simply to make interactions with others simpler and more comfortable, and he isn't bothered when someone he knows well learns the truth; provided they don't pass it on to others.
Jade is a man motivated by the same thing as any other self-respecting Sith: power. Unlike most however, having it is enough. He has no desire to rule, cause suffering, or any need to demonstrate his might to others. Rather, he instead follows the Sith code to break his own chains with no thoughts of then shackling others. To this end he is on a relentless and unending odyssey for powerful magic, rituals, relics, and knowledge.
This distinction of desires means that he lacks the same viciousness and cruelty that most Sith succumb to. Those he meets can instead find him to be kind and compassionate; even often willing to aid those in need if it's no hindrance to his purposes. However, much like any other Sith, he will not hesitate to remove any obstacle, or person, that stands in the way of those purposes, by any means necessary.
Most of Jade's early life was spent under the guidance and tutelage of his mentor whose many years and vast wisdom gave him a different perspective on the universe than others of their species. Taught to believe in discipline and in the mastery of one's self above all else to avoid the addictions common to his people, Jade was instilled from childhood with unbreakable conviction, unlimited courage, and unwavering self-control.
Once he learned of his force sensitivity and discovered the path of the Sith, that same prudence had long since become a core piece of his identity. An advocate for the power of the dark side and code of the Sith, Jade maintains the fine line between power and the corruption so common in Sith. To do so requires regular meditation and an iron will; things that can cause him to seem distant and unreasonably inflexible to others.
Upon meeting Jade, nearly no one suspects him to be Sith, and those who discover it later tend towards shock. Though a large and brawny man with a strong and stern appearance that can cause some people nervousness, he generally proves himself to be at odds with both that first impression as well as the reputation of his order. Almost never rattled, he carries himself with clear confidence and purpose, only speaking when he has something to say, and possessed of a rather calm and even gentle nature. Any nervousness that may have been felt from that first impression tends to quickly be relieved upon conversing, and it can be surprising to find him delivering witty remarks or quipping with dry humor.
And though he might merely mock or smirk at those he dislikes, when a situation becomes hostile, that calm and gentle disposition is instantly replaced with unyielding aggression.
Jade's martial combat training began very young as the lone student of an eons old legendary anzati grandmaster, and is a path he has totally devoted himself to ever since. Fighting without weapon or armor, he has fused an ancient version of Teras Kasi with K'thri learned during decades spent as a gladiator to create a flashy yet complete system all his own.
Fighting without defense against blasters and lightsabers, Jade uses a mixture of precognition and barrier alongside the highly evasive nature of K'thri to avoid and block attacks, and heavily augments the aggressive offense of Teras Kasi with amplify to overpower his enemies while using control self to fight through pain and fatigue. All of this together has made him one of the galaxy's premier martial artists, but it has left him entirely untrained in the use of weaponry.
Since discovering sensitivity to it relatively recently in life, the Force has become no less a natural weapon for Jade then has own body. Over time, he found it simple, natural even, to use it to enhance his strength, speed, and stamina. Then after studying for several years at the feet of the Nightsisters of Dathomir, he was able to harness the secrets of their shadow magicks and wield them as his own.
Alongside his methods of enhancing his body with the Force, Jade manifests these sinister magicks in the forms of force lightning the same green as nightsister ichor fluidly weaved into his physical strikes, dark healing that leaves a very light misting of green ichor smoke, and a barrier of translucent green.
