Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Centam Javik creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Centam Javik creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.

When Centam Javik does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Centam Javik's work, but it's usually done right, at least.

Centam Javik is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.

The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Centam Javik is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. He tries to help everyone he can, even at his own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.

Though Centam Javik carries a blaster, he uses it only as a last resort. Having seen firsthand the damage an errant blaster bolt can cause, he prefers to use his lightsaber whenever possible, finding it to be, in the words of Obi-Wan Kenobi, "an elegant weapon for a more civilized age."

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Centam Javik has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Centam Javik then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Centam Javik has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
