Drakai is a typical member of his species with pale green, slightly gray skin and a somewhat lanky and lithe, athletic build which belies the muscles underneath. He has wrinkled skin around his eyes, another typical feature of Kyuzo. The eyes themselves are piercing yellow in color and have slit pupils. He has a small horizontal scar below his left eye from a fight. He always wears a filter mask over his mouth, which slightly distorts his voice, adding to the deep, resonant quality it naturally has.
Drakai doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Drakai sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.
While Drakai will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Drakai's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Drakai's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Drakai, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Drakai prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Drakai is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Drakai to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Drakai can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Without the gift of the Force, Drakai has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Drakai has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Drakai has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Drakai is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
