Hevan Slavis will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Hevan Slavis will not bother confronting them.

Hevan Slavis has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Hevan Slavis downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.

Hevan Slavis manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Hevan Slavis will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Hevan Slavis's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.

Hevan Slavis is often confused and heavily saddened by the amount of idiocy that constantly surrounds him. It is often much easier for Hevan Slavis to cope with people by ensuring he stays inebriated and dulling his senses. When unable to find alcohol for an extended period of time, Hevan Slavis will devolve into a ravenous, hate-filled monster that is nigh impossible to be around. In other words, Hevan Slavis is an addict.

Hevan Slavis may wear a lightsaber at his waist, but he always goes for his trusty blaster instead, preferring to shoot it out from range rather than trying to get in up-close and personal. Only as a last resort will he go for his lightsaber.

Hevan Slavis vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
