Nocturnus has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Nocturnus downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.

Nocturnus has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.

The Sith rely on their passions to give them strength. Nocturnus thinks inwards, only of things that matter to him, and always does what is in his best interests. He feels nothing about hurting others, or exploiting opportunities, and believes himself to be special, and above all others.

Killing has never been a problem for Nocturnus; and he kind of enjoys it now, if he is honest. Killing's what Nocturnus does, and he likes what he does.

He is known in military and mercenary circles, even beyond, as one of the best fighter pilots out there. During his career, he has earned the name of "Blood Baron," referring to both his kill count and to his blood-hungry ways to pursuing foes. As such, he can be a dangerous when behind the cockpit, with years of experience and skills. However, there are always ones more skilled that he is in piloting. Additionally, his one big problem is being weak in melee combat, and in combat when on the ground in general.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Nocturnus has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Nocturnus then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Nocturnus has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
