Alex is a tall human with a broad-shouldered, lithely muscled build. Close-cropped medium-dark brown hair - with slight streaks of silvery gray at the temples - meet along the edges of an angular but not harsh face with a neatly trimmed beard. Green eyes with slight flecks of yellow are set deep beneath a prominent brow. Gently tanned skin - impossible to tell if from natural pigmentation or just a hard-lived life - display the slight freckling and wrinkling of age. A faded, still-visible scar stretches from just above his left cheekbone angled down and back to just before the edge of his jaw.
Alex Draconis' history is foggy and vague at best. If you ask him where he's from on three different days, you'll get four different answers. Some days he claims to be thousands of years old, maintained by ancient Sith Alchemy of an unspecified nature. Other times he will claim to be the head of a Mandalorian House there are no records of. Whether any of the things he says are true or not doesn't matter; they serve their purpose of nobody else getting to know the "true" him, for better or worse.
Alex Draconis believes that if you are going to do something, you should be absolutely all about it in that moment. Whether it be playing darts, hunting a bounty, or fighting for his life in the Arena, Alex Draconis always puts everything he has into it. While this does great increase the enjoyment - and oftentimes the success - of whatever activity he is engaging in, it also means that sometimes other things fall by the wayside as Alex Draconis focuses so intently on what they are doing right now.
Alex Draconis can't help himself - if he sees an opportunity to drop a line or make a move, he'll take it. He never really means anything by it and nine times out of ten wouldn't even follow through if it were reciprocated, but it's just his "default" manner for conversation. Not everyone is receptive or appreciative to this kind of behavior, of course, and more often than not Alex Draconis finds himself having dug himself into more trouble by making a pass at the wrong individual.
Alex Draconis has been through a lot in his life, but long ago made the decision not to let it get to him. He always tries to find the good in any given situation, and just tries to find whatever enjoyment can be found in what is happening. While this kind of personality can be endearing, many others find it grating and irritating, making it more difficult for Alex Draconis to deal with them.
Alex Draconis is so used to the chaotic nature of battle that he has come to rely on it to help him achieve victory. The more hectic and wild a combat situation is, the more he likes it - and if it's not going out of control, he'll do everything he can to send it that way. However, an overreliance on these conditions does mean that Alex Draconis is not so great at dealing with opponents who can also remain calm, collected, and undistracted despite the maelstrom around them.
Alex Draconis is not consciously aware that they are attuned to the Force, and has never received any formal training in such. His abilities manifest themselves either subconsciously or instinctually in appropriate situations. While Alex Draconis is not aware that he is calling upon the Force to do so, he is at least aware that with a degree of focus and concentration they can sometimes manage to do things they would not normally be able to accomplish even if it's somewhat unreliable.
