The Mandalorian known as Idris Adenn embodies a captivating blend of rugged features and an easy striking charm. His tall, lithe frame is a testament to the discipline and focus he maintains in his warrior lifestyle. Despite his emphasis on agility over sheer power, his carefully curated body exudes a meticulous and toned muscularity, a well-kept machine finely tuned for his combat-filled lifestyle.
Idris’ roguish good looks are accentuated by a pearly-white smile that comes easily or a knowing smirk. His face is dominated by sharp expressive brows that lend an intensity to his gaze. His eyes, deep pools of rich brown, warmly sparkle with a blend of mystery and determination.
The Mandalorian’s luscious black hair is kept on the longer side, tended to with care such that its wavey and silky smooth flow cascades back to just above his shoulders. His mouth, chin, and jaw are framed with a constant extended goatee, lending a touch of rugged sophistication to his appearance. Despite Idris’ commitment to an impeccable outward appearance, his bronzed skin bears several scars, each a piece of a long story of battles won and challenges overcome.
From Idris’ youth, many minor and faded scars indicate an upbringing of adventure. Following a near-fatal incident upon a crashing starship as a teenager, his right leg is home to a very long thin scar from a compound fracture. That same incident left several deep scars on his chest and arms. Additional scars are formed from a series of parallel lines across his back, from his left shoulder towards his right hip. These are the souvenirs of an encounter with a formidable Terentatek, its claws leaving a permanent mark. Most recently another near-fatal incident, a stabbing from a spear in the Ethereal Realm, has left its mark upon his upper abdomen.
The Mandalorian proudly displays his heritage and identity with stylish tattoos that are deeply personal to him. The kry’bes, the iconic Mandalorian Mythosaur skull as displayed on his warbanner, adorns his inside right forearm just below the elbow. Below his left collarbone, the name Elia is elegantly scripted in traditional Mando’a lettering. Finally centered at the base of his neck, the Clan Adenn signet takes form, a Dragonsnake head.
Idris carries a slight swagger in his walk, a nonchalant confidence. His voice is accented, a trait from learning Basic after Mando’a. It is a resonant baritone, a smooth blending of confidence with a hint of seductiveness. Each word is delivered with a measured cadence, a magnetic almost musical lilt.
Idris Adenn was raised in the ways of his ancestors, the mighty Mandalorians of Clan Adenn. His word is his bond, and his dedication to his honor demands that he always sees any job through to the end. Despite his quick-trigger temper and a tendency to indulge in his vices, he knows to exercise restraint and resolve when on the clock.
This trait and honor has left Idris Adenn with a very solid reputation in his line of work, and a textbook example of the capabilities of a true Mandalorian. However, his dedication to his Mandalorian tenets has made it very difficult for many to work with him, as they may fail to understand or appreciate those roots or lack the resolve to see jobs through to completion. This has alienated more than a few potential allies over the years, but Idris doesn’t mind, after all, “This is the Way”.
The galaxy is home to some incredible spectacles, unimaginable wonders, and unfathomable horrors. Having traveled from the Core to the Outer Rim to the Unknown Regions, Idris Adenn has seen it all and takes the new, both the amazing and the appalling, in stride. Coupled with having cut plenty of lives short in his dangerous line of work, Idris has come to relish the wonders of life while he can.
Many would call his lifestyle excessive, but Idris is a man who knows what likes; be that men, women, food, drink, or a good old-fashioned brawl. If it is obtainable and within his grasp, Idris will take it and enjoy it in abundance. Death is inevitable, but that doesn't mean Idris can’t enjoy himself. Life is meant to be lived, so he will live it. Until his story comes to an end, Idris Adenn will take every day to its fullest.
There are all different walks of life in the galaxy. As a bounty hunter, Idris Adenn has had a lot of experience interacting with all kinds of life; The rich and the poor, the sophisticated and the crass, the intelligent and the clueless. With a seemingly endless supply of slow-witted, selfish, brutes that are left staring down the end of his blaster barrel, Idris has taken his naturally sarcastic tongue and developed into a league of its own.
The upper end of clientele tends to find Idris Adenn as either annoying or amusing as he taunts their lackeys, the lackeys themselves can’t help but pick up on his less-than-friendly commentary. Responsible for a well above average amount of bar fights, even for a Mandalorian, Idris Adenn has a really hard time keeping his thoughts to himself. Be them kings or peasants or anything in between, they are going to get quipped.
Arrogant is commonly thrown around when describing Idris Adenn. And yes, Idris thinks very highly of himself. While some has been earned over the years, much of it comes from within as a core part of his personality. Idris Adenn never merely walks around like he owns the place, he swaggers through. From fine palaces to dingy slums, he always acts like the galaxy’s spotlight is focused on him.
Idris Adenn does still care for others and is deeply passionate about protecting those he calls family, yet, at the end of the day, Idris is self-assured, confident, cocky, and hubristic. He is the hotshot to end all hotshots. Many are unsure if they should be awestruck, or simply shocked as he swaggers by. Some, including his family, have come to tolerate and even admire and love his bold personality, while others find it just too much to put up with.
As is typical for his people, Idris Adenn is a warrior. Generations of proud and capable Mandalorians have left Idris with a hothead and a love for combat: the uncertainty, the chaos, the pain, the joy of victory, and overcoming insurmountable odds. While often appearing excessively easy-going, Idris also has a very quick temper when triggered. This has led to being neck-deep in personal altercations outside of his professional life.
There are buckets of blood and mountains of broken bones littering his past, and Idris Adenn knows there is more to come in his future. While never cruel, he has been known to let a fight linger on rather than end it just for the thrill and enjoyment of it. For Idris, beating an opponent into submission is one of the sweetest things to enjoy in life, a fact that will lead to plenty more necessary medical attention in his future.
Trained in the Mandalorian ways since birth, Idris Adenn has a lifetime of experience behind him. He has fought in, won, and lost more fights than anyone could expect from a lone gun for hire. Be it from a job, his own temper, or just joining into a brawl, Idris Adenn knows his way around a fight. This lifetime of experience not only has made him a capable fighter, but hardened his will to see a fight through to the end.
Coupled with his intense sense of honor as a Mandalorian, Idris Adenn’s resolve to fight to the bitter end is nearly unbreakable. Pain, injury, or insurmountable odds, he will continue to fight until there is no more fight left to give. This can and has led to much more severe injuries than if he would have just tapped out, and puts those who fight alongside him at risk.
