Lorn has seen oppression, hatred and suffering first hand his entire life and it has given him one guiding belief in life. That all people deserve to be free to be who they want to be, as long as it doesn’t hinder someone else’s freedoms. If he sees what he believes is someone in need of help, he is not afraid to jump in and defend them. This has led to him sticking his nose in other people’s business and not always on the right side of things, causing more trouble for both the target of his aid and himself as his version of help often turns violent and has been described as brutal.

Having seen the worst the galaxy has to offer, Lorn has grown to hate people. Because of this he has chosen to become a nomad, living in remote places alone and away from cities filled with those he despises, only visiting more populous areas when absolutely necessary. Because of this he is much more comfortable alone in nature and can become overwhelmed and uncomfortable in large crowds.

Lorn felt weak as a child. He couldn’t protect himself, he couldn’t protect his family. Every time he failed or came up short, it weighed heavy on him. When he finally gave into his rage he felt something he never thought possible, he felt strength. Since then he has dedicated his life to never feeling weak and helpless again by training his mind, body and soul relentlessly. He keeps a calm and emotionless exterior facade while burning the constant storm of anger and hatred roiling inside him like fuel to keep pushing him forward. Many of the people he encounters view him as a cold and callous monster for this and it drives away even those close to Lorn.

Lorn does not like many people. He has spent a great deal of time keeping himself separate from those he could hurt or disappoint. But once you break through that armour and are considered close to him, he will stop at nothing to protect you using any means necessary. No matter how many bodies are left in his wake or who those bodies belong to. This zealous determination often scares even those in his inner circle and can lead to contempt and distrust.

Lorn likes to keep things close and personal, preferring to close the distance between him and his opponents so they can look him in the eye and know who it was that beat them. Because of this, Lorn relies almost exclusively on his prowess with a lightsaber and while he’s sure he could fire a blaster if necessary, he’s not very comfortable doing so. This leaves him at a disadvantage when dealing with a ranged opponent.

On the surface, he looks calm and ready. But on the inside, Lorn is a torrent of hate and rage. Lorn prefers to take a defensive approach, blocking and parrying attacks while he learns more about his opponent, hoping to control the pace of the fight and wait until the right time to unleash his fury and strike his opponent down. One-on-one, this can tire his opponents out. Against larger groups of opponents, this leads Lorn to constantly defend and can end up tiring him out instead.
