Like all other Clawdites, Vayla is a shpeshifter. In her natural form, Vayla sports a light green almost yellow reptilian skin over an unassuming, small frame. Her attentive yellow eyes constantly searches for anything out of the ordinary. She has no natural hair due to her reptilian nature.
Vayla is a master of fitting in and impersonation. There is scarcely a planet in the galaxy where she can't manage to find a way to fit in, be it throwing together a convincing imitation of local guard or pretending to be a regular local. Vayla is so good at such that she may have seemingly lost all sense of personal style and flair, leaving her as always simply the imitator.
Vayla will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, she will stick to the shadows or cloak herself in the Force. The less she is seen, the better. If she cannot sneak up on someone, then Vayla will not bother confronting them.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Vayla's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Vayla prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While she is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, she toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Vayla takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario she might expect to encounter. Vayla tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and she often finds herself at a loss in situations that go beyond what she could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, her perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
Vayla wears out her opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once she has sufficiently tired her foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, she quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
