A reptilian in appearance. This specimen has a mouth filled with razor sharp teeth and a wet tongue much like a serpent’s. A towering behemoth, he is an imposing figure with yellow scales mottled with browns and his eyes are yellow with black slit pupils surrounded by orange. The scales themselves are dented and scarred in areas and his arms and legs are quite long which is standard for Trandoshans.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Grudac Gruud. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Grudac Gruud only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Grudac Gruud to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Grudac Gruud has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Grudac Gruud downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
People tend to reverently follow Grudac Gruud’s lead and look up to him in difficult situations. Whether through inspirational behavior, fear and manipulation, or belief and hope for a better future, they think that Grudac Gruud genuinely believes what he does. This is all a clever facade, however, as Grudac Gruud is not always as upstanding and respectable as his followers believe. He is no idol, but an opportunist who knows how to manipulate a crowd into bettering his own machinations.
Grudac Gruud is not afraid to exploit any advantage or position of power he has when dealing with others, and relies on a combination of fear, intimidation, manipulation and shows of strength to convince others to compromise and lose. Grudac Gruud can be quite callous in his dealings with others, and never gives up his power. This has earned Grudac Gruud with the reputation of a “bully” and can often make negotiations difficult before they even begin.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Grudac Gruud prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Grudac Gruud rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Grudac Gruud is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Grudac Gruud's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Grudac Gruud will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Grudac Gruud's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts him into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While he may not be the one to always start a fight, he will always see it through to it’s conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Grudac Gruud initiates or accepts a challenge, he does not hold back.
