A stocky, bulky, yet muscular built young man with ivory skin and dark brown, curly hair. When he is not wearing a helmet, his beard can be seen as a usual perfectly trimmed goatee and dark coffee brown eyes. He usually wears always thick protective garbs and his armor over that, to cover up countless small scars and chemical burns.

Marcus "The Chemist" Ignis has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. He has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to his brand of humor often find Marcus "The Chemist" Ignis downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, his cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those he encounters.
