Jai Thorne is of a muscular toned build with a slightly tanned skin tone. His hair style is a short cropped, almost militaristic style, the top being swept to the left. His hair color is black all around, including his majestic curled moustache. His distinguishing marks include crow's feet around his brown eyes, and an indention of age wrinkling at the bottom of his nose.
While Jai Thorne will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Jai Thorne's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Jai Thorne's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Jai Thorne, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Jai Thorne can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Jai Thorne in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Jai Thorne will be there for them.
Jai Thorne considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsessions with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Jai Thorne to relax and enjoy spending time with others. he excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.
Jai Thorne would much rather be behind a hand of good sabacc cards or a rare vintage of aged liquor than with his blasters or ship. More often than not, he will spend nights at high-end establishments gambling, drinking and "socializing". Jai Thorne can survive without the finer things, but he sure would rather not. This preference follows him onto the job, so it is not uncommon for Jai Thorne to insult a client or potential partner by commenting on their choice of beverage or recreation.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Jai Thorne? Jai Thorne doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Jai Thorne, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Jai Thorne isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Jai Thorne won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Jai Thorne will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Jai Thorne vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
