Sage has a lithe frame with broad shoulders and a body that tapers toward the waist. He has dark skin covered in a thin layer of coarse blue grey fur
He has a shaggy head of black hair that he usually pulls up into a messy ponytail. He has two feline ears that sprout from the sides of his head and through his hair.
His eyes are silver but reflective in the light.
Sage doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Sage sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.
While Sage will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Sage's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Sage's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Sage, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Sage's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Sage is mesmerized by anything shiny and can easily spot shiny objects from a distance. This makes him good at finding things of importance or value, but he may also be distracted by pretty baubles.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Sage prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Sage rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Sage is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Sage's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Sage has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Sage is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
