Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Marius Apollo Edraven has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.

Marius Apollo Edraven's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. He has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of his own. This allows Marius Apollo Edraven to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to him solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question Marius Apollo Edraven's alternative practices. He typically brushes them off in favor of doing everything he can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.

Marius Apollo Edraven doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Marius Apollo Edraven two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Marius Apollo Edraven often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.

Despite his line of work, Marius Apollo Edraven still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Marius Apollo Edraven only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Marius Apollo Edraven takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Marius Apollo Edraven tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with through martial arts training. Marius Apollo Edraven has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Marius Apollo Edraven is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.
