Charon Reddick feels a personal connection and commitment to the Envoy Corps mission statement. After years of spy and espionage, he genuinely aligns with supporting the Brotherhoods altruistic efforts to bring more stability and order to chaos of the galaxy. This loyalty is not something that was bought with credits, but of Charon's history of service. As such, he is could be mistakenly be seen as a blind devotee to the Envoy Corps, but in reality, he is a man that leads by example, his resolve an anchor and beacon for any that believe in the mission.

In ancient Sith mythology, Kharon was known to carry the souls of the dead to the afterlife. Charon Reddick, true to his name, earned the moniker of "The Ferryman" during his long career of service as an operative and agent for the Inquisitorius. Not only does he still retain one of the highest success rates for the number of missions he has successfully carried out, he was known, especially in his prime, for his ability to act the stoic executioner when called upon. While he may not be as deadly, physically, as he once was in his prime, his reputation tends to precede him even through his new role as "Concierge" for the Envoy Corps.

Charon's role as Concierge of the Envoy Corps carries a lot more weight than meets the eye. Due to having the trust of the Exarch, and therefore the Brotherhood, Charon carries a certain weight and authority that acts as a kind of diplomatic armor. As such, it is generally known that an act of aggression against Charon will trigger swift and devastating consequence. This gives Charon a kind of diplomatic immunity while managing the Envoy Corps various assets, and makes it easy for him to maintain an icily calm demeanor at all times, even when situations might get dicey. For all of that, he is still just one man and requires approval from higher powers to make changes to Envoy Corps protocols and procedures and will not make exceptions.

Charon is unfailingly polite, calm, and charismatic no matter who is speaking to him. A cocky Journeyman is no different than an arrogant Elder or a friendly Equite. His demeanor is not a front or an act, but genuinely a core component of who Charon is at heart. While this might be seen as a form of passivity or weakness, Charon is not beyond interjecting his dry wit into his responses, even if one such quip could escalate a situation.

Charon's clam demeanor, no matter the situation, mixes with an air of professionalism that can give pause to even the most intimidating of foes. Whether it be a Sith Lord or a random street thug, he will resort to violence only when absolutely necessary. In truth, Charon leverages his natural charm, reputation, and intimidating presence to deescalate conflict, but when all else fails he is not afraid to pull a blaster or disarm someone when needed.

Without the gift of the Force, Charon Reddick has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Charon Reddick has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
