Artorias Tarsus will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Artorias Tarsus will not bother confronting them.

Artorias Tarsus has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.

Artorias Tarsus doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Artorias Tarsus sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Artorias Tarsus tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Artorias Tarsus takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Artorias Tarsus tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Artorias Tarsus has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Artorias Tarsus then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Artorias Tarsus has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
