Years of alchemical studies, countless Sith rituals, and innumerable questionable experiments have considerably deepened Aphotis's understanding of the darker arts. Her endless pursuit of unearthing secrets is primarily motivated by the relationship she shares with her symbiote. Once a separate entity, it is now part of her, having permantly altered her to a cellular level.

Where once the Sith’s passion came off as impatient due to an impending internal doomsday clock, her confidence and understanding now lead her to be much more calm, rational, and analytic in her machinations. Having experienced death and rebirth, the Sith plays a long game with her mind, always thinking of the future. The alchemical changes to her body have left her more vulnerable, intensifying her sensations and have made her more reliant on the dark side of the Force. The most notable physical change is that her skin has turned an inky, shiny jet-black.

Blending an appearance that looks both harrowing and alluring is no easy task. It is of the utmost importance to Aphotis that she looks impeccable and intimidating during any public appearance. All of that attention and self-care can take an incredible amount of time and effort to maintain. Combined with her prideful body language, this can often lead to others perceiving her as incredibly vain.

Yet where once she took offense to criticism, the Sith now feeds on the looks of both fear and excitement that her appearance warrants. She savors the whispers of warning just as much as the staring or leering at her various assets. Thanks to her hybridization experiments on her body, most often question how “Human” she really is, giving her a double-edged mystique that is either an invite to approach or a warning to steer clear.

Aphotis is unwaveringly pragmatic to the point of coming off as pessimistic and foreboding. In actuality, the Sith simply knows the dangers of acting on a whim or on her own impulses and likes to lean on her intellectuality over raw willpower. The “Ivory Tower'' that forms around her brilliant mind is grounded in the desire to face challenges head-on and to learn from them to grow more powerful. While each obstacle overcome is a fine addition to her collection of experiences, this can often lead her to take a more complex route to solve a problem rather than the more obvious and simple one she overlooked.

Though fundamentally self-interested, Aphotis has a lurking desire to seek other souls to share her darkened thoughts and mischievous intentions with. She loves seduction and sinister suggestions and has a particularly soft spot for dark, poetic flirtations, which can lead to her mistaking malicious attempts on her life as invitations or expressions of interest. This penchant for teasing does not extend into her distaste for overly cheerful or optimistic companions. She believes such behaviors to be disingenuous or an act of obfuscation.

For all of her dark etiquette, however, the Sith has found that those she has seen prove themselves to be authentically upbeat, having an almost endearing appeal. Aphotis relishes in stress testing these wells of idealism to reach their depths of despair, if only to prove that such hope does not exist, after all. To her, these beacons of sanguineness are like puzzles that need to be corrupted.

The Sith has developed many effective techniques that allow her to pull an individual's fears to the surface. She gets a malevolent pleasure from seeing her adversaries panic or fumble when their resolve reaches rock bottom. This lust for dread has developed into a deep desire to harvest these uniquely flavored horrors and to place them in her mindscape that she calls the Garden of Trepidations.

Even if her adversary is of strong enough will to be unphased by her pursuit, Aphotis is rarely conservative in utilizing her Force-sensitive abilities. This is thanks to her confidence in siphoning energy from the Living Force whenever a break in combat presents itself. This, of course, can lead her to sometimes get carried away with her efforts, and without proper recovery time, she can become fatigued and be more easily overwhelmed by an opponent.

Aphotis seeks out conflict in order to weed out weaknesses and sharpen her skills. The more arduous the combat and the more skillful her opponent, the better. The Sith does not shy away from the pain that comes with it; she craves it. Her incredible endurance coupled with her alchemically honed body’s ability to mend itself allows her to fight through wounds that would render most individuals unable to carry on.

While this ecstatic drive for strife does afford her time to study her foe, it also leaves her vulnerable to surprises. The clanging of bladed heels and the frictive “pop” and “snap” of tight latex tend to be dead giveaways that the Sith is coming. This all makes her a potential liability in assignments that require peaceful solutions, and her eye-catching, intimidating ‘presence’ can put a damper on stealth operations.
