Zebina is an aging spacer with a light-skinned complexion and a dark beard, going grey, but streaked with red and blonde. A mop of short but messy black hair crests his tall forehead and accentuates a pair of dusky brown eyes, which seem at odds with their crows' feet as well as the laugh lines peppered across his face. His nose is both tall and pronounced, set crooked from some forgotten break, and leaving space for only an abbreviated upper lip. His mouth, accustomed to both humor and horror, is pursed and often cocked at an angle, as if ready to break into a smile at any moment. Zebina is tall and built, especially for a snubfighter pilot. While he remains thin, it would be a stretch to describe him as slender, particularly as the weight of age begins to catch up with him.
Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Zebina has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Zebina's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Zebina's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.
Zebina is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.
Zebina is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Zebina is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.
Zebina is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Zebina to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Zebina can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Zebina? Zebina doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Zebina, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Zebina isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Zebina won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Zebina will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Zebina will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak themselves in the Force. The less they are seen the better. If they cannot sneak up on someone, then Zebina will not bother confronting them.
