Itzo is a Zabrak with a unique skin condition; while his natural skin color is a dark orange, he has ‘Vitiligo’-like white patches across his entire body. Though most of his skin is generally covered, the patches on his arms and face are very prominent. This feature led many of the adults in his youth to call him ‘Patchy’, a nickname that he absolutely despised. While Itzo is a generally happy and care-free individual, his attitude will quickly change if attention is drawn to his appearance.

Itzo has developed a deep bond with Brascoe, a unique Tuggle he acquired in a high stakes game of Sabacc on Coruscant. Brascoe comes with him everywhere, and because of the creature’s abnormal size and penchant for ‘borrowing’ things, it often gets Itzo into trouble. Even with the hassle, he wouldn’t trade Brascoe for anything and would even risk his own safety to rescue it from danger.

Itzo doesn’t just live in the seedy underbelly of the Galaxy, he thrives. Gambling, drinking, and racing are his favorite pastimes, in no particular order. He steals, he cheats, and at any given time he is running at least two seperate scams. When Itzo meets someone for the first time, he is already trying to figure out how to profit from them. Though he doesn’t lie or steal from his friends, his actions don’t often lead to making new ones. Enemies, however, are made everyday.

Itzo was exposed to the darker side of the galaxy at a very young age, being raised as part of a small-scale crime family on Nar Shaddaa. While some aspects of the life were appealing to him, he was never comfortable with the ruthlessness required to be successful. After leaving Nar Shaddaa behind and setting off on his own, Itzo decided he wanted to do things differently. He might still lie and cheat, but when the fighting breaks out, he is inclined to show mercy to his opponents. This trait can be easily exploited by those with questionable morals.

Itzo always had a fascination with the myth of lightsabers and the Jedi from a very young age. When he wasn’t tinkering with droids, he was pretending to duel Dark Jedi, with a metal rod as a weapon. After he showed signs of Force sensitivity, his father brought in any teacher or source of training he could find. Most were charlatans and con artists, but some were the real deal. After many years of training and practice, Itzo has developed into a skilled warrior with the lightsaber. However, his lifelong obsession has led him to neglect other forms of weaponry, much to the disappointment of his father.

Though Itzo is a very skilled combatant, both with a lightsaber and with the Force, he will generally let his bodyguard and companion droid, Ken, handle the fighting. Ken is a B2 Super Battle droid who aspires to be the greatest fighter in the Galaxy, so he relished the opportunities for combat. His reliance on Ken being able to contend with the lower level scum he encounters during the course of business can lead to Itzo underestimating his opponents and potentially losing his companion in the process.
