Retden always seems to underestimate the gravity of important situations or the difficulty of tasks by about a mile or ten.Retden is a bit of a slacker, never really thinking things all the way through - and it usually comes back to bite him in a wildly comedic way. However, he also tends to not be deterred from things that would often scare others away.

Retden is devoutly loyal to his House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. He would sacrifice his own life to protect his House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds his ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and he can come off as extremely narrow-minded.

Retden has Necrophobia or the irrational fear of dead things. In his case, he is afraid of dead people. As such, he gets squeamish around corpses and will try his best to postpone, or better yet, prevent the deaths from happening near him. This is also true in combat, where he tends to leave his opponent alive.

The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Retden is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. He tries to help everyone he can, even at his own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.

Despite his disfavour of combat, Retden is a proficient, if not skillful, swordfighter and martial artist. This fact is not widely known, as he is not often seen actually fighting alongside others in combat, but staying in the rear to provide assistance. Direct participation in fights only comes when there's no other choice.

Instead of participating on the frontlines, Retden would stay back to aid the wounded, provide help through battle meditation, and perform supportive activities. He will generally avoid direct confrontation, preferring to protect rather than destroy. As such, his Powers are geared toward defensive capabilities for both him and his comrades.
