Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Aen Van Del retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.

When Aen Van Del does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Aen Van Del's work, but it's usually done right, at least.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Aen Van Del's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Aen Van Del tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Aen Van Del will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in his allies getting wounded or killed.

Aen Van Del wants to be the very best, like no one ever was. He has trained every single day without fail at his talent and will not stop until he is recognized as the best Saberist in the Galaxy. This determination makes Aen Van Del highly proficient at his talent, but also confident and fearless when given the chance to prove his skill even against greater opponents. This same drive can lead to hubris, however, can allow Aen Van Del to not take a opponent seriously unless feeling sufficiently challenged.
