Physical Description

Celahir Erinos stands at just over 1.8m in height and it is immediately evident that he looks after himself. Hours of training every day have developed a defined, powerful physique with broad shoulders and pectorals, a washboard stomach and large, strong arms. His chest and stomach are smooth and there’s a light dusting of hair on his legs and arms. He is unmistakably Kiffar in his appearance, and has a large tribal black tattoo covering the left half of his face. The tattoo runs down his neck to the back of his shoulders, a graceful, curving thing done out in black (homage to his mother’s identical tattoos, thus showing his ancestry) that creeps over his shoulders, its trails of ink like claws reaching to his collarbones. The tribal designs stretch all across his back and down to his atlas muscles, and then curve around the lower part of his stomach, joining with the large di Tenebrous tattoo. He has a sleeve tattoo joining on his left arm detailing an intricate hexagonal pattern in various hues of blue, green and black which connects with the others. There is also a circular Erinos sigil tattooed onto his right shoulder. Finally, stretching over his stomach and abdomen is the mark of the di Tenebrous; a swirling black affair with points coming off it like a star, and the symbol of Arcona in the centre. His hair is shaved very short to the skull, joining seamlessly with the dusting of stubble over his chin and jaw, allowing his facial tattoo to be easily visible. His eyes are a vivid phosphorus green. With a deeply tanned complexion and heavy brows, it often gives the Kiffar a dark, troubled look, however there is still a youthful exuberance hidden within.

Attire

Celahir has always sought a freedom of movement over protection. He has taken this to an extreme degree, choosing to forego a top entirely in favour of dark bandages wrapping his abdomen, wrists forearms and right elbow. Around his waist are a myriad of belts, all with pouches and pockets. Covering his lower half are a pair of baggy but durable pants ending mid-shin. He often foregoes shoes entirely, but when necessary, will wear some lightweight dark sneakers. In terms of ornamentation, Celahir has a wristband around his left wrist, upon which he sometimes mounts a small datapad and around his neck is a large dark beaded necklace with a decorative pendant - a trophy from a fighting tournament he won during his training with the GMRG.

Into The Matrix (General Aspect)

Celahir has always been most at home sat at a terminal. He has a gift with electronic devices few could hope to best, and he has yet to find a network he can’t slice his way into. Part of this is attributed to his highly logical nature, however the larger part of it can only be called genius. His predilection to computers has served Arcona time and time again, but when hacking away at whatever software has earned his wrath, he can become terribly engrossed and might lose sight of the moment and surroundings around him.

Green Steel (General Aspect)

Celahir is blessed with incredible genes, and a complete ignorance of them. His dark features seem made to turn heads, and his serious, troubled demeanour seem to attract people to him desperate to see him ‘fixed.’ Similarly, his all-or-nothing approach to friendships endears him to his colleagues. Unfortunately, this is polarising. Celahir, oblivious to the loyalty he engenders, does not suffer fools gladly. Coupled with the cliquey nature of his friendships, jealousy of his good fortune in life cause him inevitable difficulties by those who don’t know him.

What Makes You Tick? (Personality Aspect)

Celahir’s innate curiosity is an impulse he is hard-pressed to ignore. Combined with his legendary stubborn attitude, when a problem or conundrum presents itself, Celahir often has to know how it works. This extends beyond technology, and often includes people. He loves talking to those around him to work out what motivates them, what their hopes and dreams are. Some attribute this to a simple ‘know thy enemy’ philosophy, however, for those who help Celahir better, they understand that it is simply his way; he needs to know how things work, presumably so that he can work out his own place in the universe. Naturally, like with his slicing, this can end up in him getting pulled from the moment and not concentrating when he should be. And, as with everything in life, sometimes when you pull something apart to see how it works, it’s not as easy putting it back together.

Rage Against The Machine (Personality Aspect)

Celahir Erinos has never been one for authority. His impulsive nature doesn’t lend itself well to a structured regimen, and it comes across in most aspects of his life. It’s hard to earn his respect and trust, but when it is earned, it’s not easily thrown away. Celahir is stubborn to an almost ridiculous degree. He will seldom compromise when he believes he is right, which can make him an incorrigible adversary. It does, however, take longer for Celahir to adapt to change.

'What The Hell Is He Doing?' 'His Job.' (Combat Aspect)

Celahir, as anyone who knows him can attest, is nothing if not unconventional. This colours every aspect of his life, from how he conducts himself socially, to his chosen interests and hobbies (computers and hitting things), and most definitely in the way his mind works. He never tackles a problem head on, instead preferring to attack almost any situation laterally. He will never charge in, he will never lose his cool, but will always observe, let his antagonist make the first move, and then, once having discerned a pattern, formulate a counter-strategy to take them down. This can include numerous blows to the head with a blunt object, turning some networked droids on him, or even disengaging a mag-lock on a crane to drop something on his foe. It is entirely dependent on the tools he has at hand. It is important to note, however, that he doesn't have a preferred fighting style or tactic: his very nature is fluid and changing, and so is he in combat. It does, however mean that he is always reacting to problems or foes, rather than anticipating them and having a strategy at hand.

It's The Motion Of The Ocean (Combat Aspect)

Celahir grew up in bar brawls. Literally. He earned a fair amount as a teenager in illegal fighting rings and knows his way around bare knuckle fighting. He also believes that there is no such thing as a dishonest fighter; just one better at misdirection: if his opponent is foolish enough to fall for a feint, then he deserves that quick little jab in the liver. During his tenure in the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, he got a lot of training, and fast. It called to him in a way that he hadn't felt since before his days in the Brotherhood, back to when he was doing his best to knock someone’s teeth out. He took to the additional training like a man possessed, and his potency in a fight grew dramatically. He is now regarded as one of the pre-eminent brawlers in clan Arcona, if not the entire Brotherhood, however, one's fists and feet can only reach so far, and this does leave him at a disadvantage against exclusively ranged fighters, unless he can get the drop on them.
